2.3 Blockchain Data

Transactions on the Aeltrix blockchain are publicly visible. This includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and settlement hashes. This data is inherent to blockchain technology and cannot be deleted or modified.

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and send settlement confirmations
  • Verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML requirements
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Communicate with you about service updates and support requests

  • Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the platform

  • Licensed Payment Service Providers (PSPs): To process fiat on-ramp and off-ramp conversions
  • KYC/AML Verification Partners: To perform identity verification and sanctions screening
  • Regulatory Authorities: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors that assist in operating the Service (hosting, analytics, customer support)

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Specifically:

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 5 years
  • Transaction records: Retained for 7 years per ADGM regulatory requirements
  • KYC documents: Retained for 5 years after account closure
  • Usage data: Retained for 24 months, then anonymized

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
